An Elegant and Colorful Fall Wedding at Crooked Willow Farms

Kristine and Ben’s wedding has always held a special place in my heart, and maybe that’s because it was the first wedding we photographed at Crooked Willow Farms! I love color, and the combination of Crooked Willow’s impeccable gardening skills and the fall leaves kept taking my breath away the entire day. Plus, Kristine and Ben are seriously the sweetest couple and we had such a good time celebrating with them.

One reason I love this venue in particular

One side note I want to add about the venue – I love its location! Crooked Willow Farms is happily nestled in between Colorado Springs and Denver, so it’s right next to two major cities but it feels like you’re out in the country miles from anywhere. It’s like a mini vacay for your guests and I get so excited every time we get to photograph a wedding there!

Back to Kristine and Ben’s day. I loved the way Kristine’s decor and color choices brought together both elegance and a bright pop of fun color. While neutrals and pastels were trending, Kristine went with a bold red and super colorful florals yet made it look totally put together with the venue’s aesthetic. It was perfect. So was the weather and light we had all day, which is another reason this wedding is so memorable for me!
