A Snowy Spring Wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch

We celebrated Emily and Grant’s wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch on an iconic Colorado spring day complete with all the seasons. We had sun, we had rain, and we had snow. Emily and Grant were amazing through it all, and although their ceremony moved inside we were so happy they were still up for doing their portraits outside!

I loved the style Emily incorporated into her day; she wore a simple yet gorgeous dress and her bridesmaids had beautiful patterned dresses in dusty blue and sage green. I LOVED the patterned bridesmaid dresses – this should definitely become a trend!

Who needs a wedding cake when you have Crumbl cookies?

So, little known fact about me – I am a cookie monster. You’ll find me visiting Whole Foods at least two times a week to grab some cookies from their cookie bar. When we found out Emily and Grant had opted for cookies instead of a wedding cake, I was just a little excited for dessert.

Little known fact about Emily – not only is she a marathon runner (ok so people know that part), she has WON multiple marathons! That is absolutely incredible. I love getting to hear insight into our couples’ lives during toast time, we always learn some fun facts about our brides and grooms!

A Top Colorado Springs Wedding Venue

Spruce Mountain Ranch has always impressed me with its size and the variety of options for ceremony set ups. There’s the Upper Ranch, which boasts three indoor and three outdoor options for ceremonies, and the Lower Ranch, which has an indoor ceremony space, three outdoor ceremony options, and a separate indoor cocktail space. The venue also has three ponds with fountains and multiple open fields, meaning there are endless locations for portraits!

I also love the location of the wedding venue. Spruce Mountain sits perfectly in between Colorado Springs and Denver, which makes it very convenient for wedding guests and vendors, yet it has a beautiful open space feel to it with big mountain views.
